It's gone!

My girl has a loose tooth!

Her first loose tooth-for real! She's been pretending for months, but it's for real! Of course, it freaked her out because there was blood. Once she rinsed her mouth out and I convinced her that it was normal and okay, she was beside herself! She shouted, "I'm a big girl!" She couldn't stop smiling the rest of the evening. The loose tooth took me by surprise. I wasn't quite ready for this. Her teeth came in late, so I figured she would lose them late. I figured she would be one of those that didn't lose her first tooth until first grade. My girl is growing up...too fast.

hay bales

We saw these hay bales being made this afternoon in the pasture that backs up to our backyard. We actually saw one come out of the machine right on the other side of the fence from us. C. was excited that the driver of the machine waved at her!
